If you have stumbled here by chance, and do not know anything of Hindi, you are free to browse the web for other content, for this blog contains obscene 'shers' in romanised Hindi (sometimes with the Devanagari equivalent written in brackets). If you, however, have deliberately come here, then most welcome! From its modest beginnings in Akbar's time, as an art to earn a bounty or the hand of a maiden, Sher-o-Shaayari has come a long way. We of course, the Jhantu Shaayars, are quite happy to pervert this ancient art (Get out now if you're not in the least cavalier with this!).
